- You, and anybody driving the vehicle when making a claim, are over the age of 18, a resident of the United Kingdom, your vehicle must be roadworthy, insured and hold a valid MOT certificate.
- To make a successful claim you must pass the immobility test and you may not make a claim within the first 48 hours of the policy start. Electrical and non-starter faults are also excluded in the first 30 days from policy inception.
- The £40.00 claims excess is payable prior to assistance. Claims excesses apply to Basic, Bronze XS, Silver XS and Gold XS levels of cover. Where a claim is made part way through the policy term and you are paying your premium on a monthly basis any outstanding monthly payments must be paid prior to making a claim.
- Nova Direct Breakdown Cover is an insurance policy and in order for a claim to be successful the claim must meet the criteria, conditions and terms of the policy. You are not purchasing a maintenance or service product.
- For tyre related assistance we will assist you roadside to replace the tyre. To do this you will need (1) a spare tyre of space saver (2) the locking wheel nut - if applicable (3) a jack, without these items you claim will be denied.
- If you are purchasing any cover that offers any European travel (annual or short term) then you must notify us of your travel dates and countries you will be visiting prior to travel. Failure to do so may affect your claims outcome.
